FAQ / E-Scrubber
What other applications can you use the E-Scrubber for?
Boat cleaning, pool cleaning, household, kitchen and bathroom, house wall (rough plaster), PV systems, airplanes, motorcycles, bicycles, grill/BBQ, garden furniture, stove, oven, pots, pans, winter garden.
What different attachments are there?
In our shop there is an overview of all accessories and their application. Here is the list “ Which accessories are suitable for which surface ”.
What is the function of the strap on the device?
Especially under water, it can happen that you react quickly and uncontrollably. The loop is used to securely connect the E-Scrubber+ to your hand. The material of the strap is flexible and therefore does not injure the hand.
Can the E-Scrubber+ swim?
E-Scrubber floats (only with sponge). We still recommend installing an additional safety line, which is connected to the safety leach. In the event that the E-Scrubber comes loose from the telescopic shell, for example, the E-Scrubber will still be held.
Up to what water depth can it be used?
E-Scrubber+
Approved for water depths of up to 3 meters
E-Scrubber PRO
Approved for water depths of up to 10 meters
What happens if it gets deeper than 3 meters of water?
From 3 meters onwards, water can penetrate, which then inevitably leads to a defect in the device. A repair is usually not possible.
What happens if water gets into the device?
The water, especially salt water, can cause a short circuit in the device. This means that the device is no longer functional.
What is a one-handed holder and can you buy one?
The one-hand holder is perfect for sticking to surfaces and thus providing a firm hold on the boat, for example in the water. This allows you to move freely and easily in the water to clean the waterline or the propeller.
Only use the one-hand holder in the liner pool below the waterline.
Please rinse with fresh water after use.
Why are there three different adjustable speeds?
When developing the E-Scrubber+, emphasis was placed on maximum cleaning success. High rotational speeds are counterproductive for many applications. The high speed makes the wax and cleaning agent warm. The result would be uncontrolled and unwanted “sanding” instead of cleaning or waxing. Furthermore, slow-moving machines are much easier and safer to handle. This is extremely important, especially underwater.
The 50/100 and 150 rpm are suitable for finding the optimal speed for every application. The 50 rpm are ideal for cleaning with polishing agents and grinding pastes. At the low rotation speed, the cleaning cream does not "splash" around and stays on the brush or in the sponge.
How long is the operating time?
Between 1 and 2 hours, depending on the speed selected and especially depending on the contact pressure of the surface to be cleaned.
How is the E-Scrubber+ charged?
The charging unit included in delivery is connected to a USB-A power supply. Please ensure there is sufficient power of >7.5 watts (5 Vdc / 1.5 A). We do not recommend charging via a laptop output, for example. This can result in damage to the laptop.
How long is the loading time?
With the included USB-A charging adapter, the charging time is approx. 4 hours until 100% charge. The prerequisite is a USB-A power supply with at least 7.5 watts (5 Vdc / 1.5 A).
Is there a warranty?
